Bridges Program

Operated by the Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities, Bridges provides case-manager support to youth with disabilities transitioning from school to work. Ninety percent of those who successfully complete the program receive offers of ongoing employment.

Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network

SBDCs offer one-stop assistance to individuals and small businesses by providing a wide variety of information and guidance in central and easily accessible branch locations. SBDC services include, but are not limited to, assisting small businesses with financial, marketing, organization and technical problems. Web site includes a list of all SBDCs in the state.

U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) - Savannah Local Office

Enforces federal laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), that prohibit job discrimination.

U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission - Atlanta, GA District Office

Enforces several laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), that prohibit discrimination. The Atlanta District Office has jurisdiction over the Savannah Local Office.

Work Incentive Seminar Events in Rome (08/31/2010), Dublin (09/22/2010) & LaGrange (09/28/2010)

If you are interested in learning about the Ticket to Work Program or other Work Incentives, you can attend a free Work Incentive Seminar Event (WISE). WISE are community events held by local organizations for beneficiaries to learn more about available work incentives through accessible, informal, learning opportunities.
