HHS' Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD) has announced the availability of Fiscal Year 2010 funds to award grants to set up Emergency Preparedness Special Initiatives for persons with developmental disabilities. These projects would help individuals with developmental disabilities and their families prepare for emergency situations. ADD administers the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 (DD Act). Application deadline is August 9, 2010.
