July 27, 2009 news release from the Department of Labor about the re-naming and re-launch of DisabilityInfo.gov as Disability.gov. The newly redesigned site offers comprehensive information about programs and services to better serve the more than 50 million Americans with disabilities, their family members, veterans, employers, educators, caregivers and anyone interested in disability-related information.
Disability.gov was selected to receive the 2009 GovDelivery "Excellence in Communications" Award. This award recognizes government entities that demonstrate innovation and leadership in proactive government-to-citizen communication.
