Disability.gov on Twitter
Disability.gov's presence on Twitter allows its Web site to engage and interact with the disability community on a deeper level. The site's public Twitter account posts relevant and interesting resources, responds to feedback and strives to provide a personal connection with its followers. Visitors can find resources about each of Disability.gov's 10 main subject areas on topic-specific days, as follows:
- Monday: Benefits and Housing
- Tuesday: Technology and Transportation
- Wednesday: Education
- Thursday: Health
- Friday: Employment (and Veterans)
- Saturday: Community Life
- Sunday: Civil Rights and Emergency Preparedness
Disability.gov understands that third-party social media platforms and Web sites may not be accessible to all users, including some individuals with disabilities. Therefore, any information posted by Disability.gov on Twitter will be available in an alternate format in this folder.
Please note that due to character restrictions on Twitter (140 characters or less), abbreviations may be used.
